The Belief

We forgot to play.

Not all at once. Gradually. The board exams came. Then the job. Then the inbox that never empties. Somewhere in between, we stopped doing the thing that used to make us feel most like ourselves.

Play is not childish. It is how a grandmother and a 9-year-old who have nothing in common end up laughing at the same table. It is how a group of colleagues becomes a group of people. It is how you learn to win, to lose, and to change your strategy when things are not going your way.

We built Quackapo for the people who want that back.

Why Play.

  • Play to Learn.

    Every loss is a strategy adjustment. In real life, and in Play. The person who gets KNOQ'd Out in round one is usually the most dangerous by round six.

  • Play to Create

    The best stories from any gathering start with 'remember when we were playing that game and…'. The game is the context. The memory is what stays.

  • Play to Connect

    A bad hand of cards is a great conversation starter. Nobody looks at their phone when the Tire Puncture card has just wiped out someone's winning route.

  • Play to Unwind.

    No one looked up from a game night and said they should have checked their phone more. Nobody has ever said this.
